ARC-Work (or ARC Bodywork) Sessions

Some Frequently Asked Questions about ARC Sessions.

What is ARC-Work or ARC Bodywork?

ARC-Work (also known as ARC Bodywork) is either a form of hands-on energy work or a healing modality that blends together energy work and dialogue. Adding ARC dialogue or BodySpeak to bodywork, allows the practitioner to converse with the client in a safe, nurturing way and to deepen the client's bodywork experience. Clients are fully clothed when they receive an ARC session.

Can I experience an ARC session?

Yes. There are certified ARC Practitioners in areas in the U.S and Western Canada and U.S. All offer one-on-one treatments; some offer long distant treatments or phone counseling sessions. There are ARC Practitioners who specialize exclusively in ARC. Others combine ARC with other modalities in which they are trained.

What conditions are helped by ARC bodywork?

ARC has proven to be effective in the treatment of most physical symptoms, discomforts and disease conditions, both chronic and acute. ARC excels in the treatment of emotional issues, especially those issues that impinge on lifestyle and have causative relation to physical complaints. ARC Practitioners have had success using ARC with phobia and addiction, anxiety and depression, fatigue, low energy, post-traumatic states, abuse issues, eating disorders, spiritual transitions, digestive problems, immune disorders and recurring health conditions.

What certification does an ARC Practitioner receive?

An ARC Practitioner has received over 1000 hours of classroom training, personal supervision and assignments over a period of two to three years. An ARC Practitioner is certified by The ARC Institute in the recognition that he or she has satisfactorily met the standards and requirements to treat physical, emotional and personal lifestyle issues. All Certified ARC Practitioners adhere to a strict code of ethics and maintain the highest standard of quality and integrity.

Do ARC Practitioners Re-certify?

ARC Practitioners are required to receive continued education for re-certification every two years.

How do I contact an ARC Practitioner?

They may be contacted personally by phone or email. Alternatively, if you wish you can contact The ARC Institute to recommend a practitioner suited to your personal health goal.
