An ARC Practitioner is certified by The ARC Institute in recognition that he or she has satisfactorily met the standards and requirements to treat physical, emotional and personal lifestyle issues. The ARC Institute acknowledges that healing expression is highly individual, therefore each of the qualified practitioners below vary in their approaches, though each maintain the highest standard of quality and integrity.

All Certified ARC Health Practitioners offer one-on-one sessions. Many are skilled in long-distance sessions, some in therapeutic phone work. We invite you to experience ARC Energy Bodywork for yourself.

Heather Faris is a Director for the ARC Institute and the ARC Representative for Alberta. She is a Certified ARC Health Practitioner and ARC Institute Instructor. Heather brings to ARC a wealth of experience evolving out of a commitment to her own creative healing process and spiritual journey. Over the last sixteen years she has studied and explored various healing arts including Hakomi, Reiki, Chi Gong, Kabbalah, Creative Visualization and Journey Work. Heather is currently in private practice as an ARC Bodywork Therapist in Calgary, AB.

Heather is passionate about working in circle and uses it as a creative vessel to offer workshops. She develops and facilitates Corporate Circle Workshops for Lululemon Athletica (Calgary) and is the originator of the in store environmental program.

Heather has a degree in Visual Arts from the University of Victoria and is a graduate of ARC’s Spiritual Deepening and Self Care Program. She has a love of animals and the natural world and practices animal communication. When Heather is not working she creates sculpture and 3D collage using stones, branches, bones, fabric and varied materials.

I gently guide and deepen your experience of your core self using my ARC training and experience in symbolic journeywork. This allows your innate healing wisdom to come forward and empowers you to make choices that reflect a stronger sense of self and a more balanced lifestyle.

The treatments I offer enhance traditional medicine, including pre and post-operation, cancer, muscular and back problems, etc. I am a retired nurse, with several years experience with Healing Touch and ARC Bodywork.

I work with love, connection to All that is, and prayer for the highest good of the person that I am working with. It is my belief that we are all perfect as God made us, and our growth and evolution is to remember our perfection. Energy treatments are a safe and effective approach to this.

My specialty is helping others let go of old beliefs developed by life experiences that block the experience of the true self. I believe we are created in absolute perfection. This perfection never changes; we can, however lose sight of it through living and the beliefs we develop. I help my clients rediscover and shape their true selves.

Sessions with April

I create a very calm, relaxed and open atmosphere, through soft music, soft lighting and color in my healing room. I portray a readiness to hear and follow a client's needs, offering other possibilities when I feel it's appropriate.

Location: A private, quiet healing room in my home, set up to ensure a therapeutic environment, with a softness to create safety and a loving presence.

My specialty is working in the emotional realm, but I have extensive experience with physical issues. I believe that most pain, disease and addictive behaviors have an emotional base and, as such, I use the BodySpeak^™ technique to give voice and expression to these issues. I have used ARC in such diverse areas as a substance abuse detox center and drop-in for street involved women. I currently see clients in my West Vancouver office.

Sessions with Jo-Ann

I work with clients in whatever mode they are comfortable, whether that be on the table, face-to-face in chairs or over the phone. In each session I encourage the internal witness, or Self to have voice and authority. As Self develops there is increased ability to deal with life's stressors, past and present. And, in turn, pain, disease and addiction - the manifestations of these stressors - have the potential to be alleviated.

Location: My safe and respectful sanctuary/offices in West Vancouver, B.C. and Nanaimo.

I provide a safe, supportive and respectful atmosphere. Using energetic techniques, I place my hands on certain locations on the body to evoke deep relaxation. Dialoguing occurs based on the client's needs. Together we explore what the body, mind or spirit reveals. Through this process the self is empowered with more clarity and understanding.

I believe everything on the planet is connected through our energy patterns, both past and present. I believe we are all striving to re-integrate the parts of ourselves that have broken off from our Higher Self in the erroneous belief that Parts are necessary to cope with life.

Sessions with Anita

I begin each session by chatting with the client to see where they are and what they want to work on. Then I do an energy scan, with the client fully clothed and lying on an extra-padded massage table. Using non-linear questioning and other techniques I follow the client to where they need to go to get insight into their particular issues, release blocks, and increase or decrease heat or energy.

Location: My comfortable home, filled with positive energy in Lake Forest Park.
