Continued Education Training
Certified ARC Practitioners are obliged to take ARC’s Continued Education Trainings and to give two ARC sessions under the supervision of The ARC Institute's co-founder, Pietro Abela, in the first year following certification and every two years thereafter.
Continued Education Trainings include:
The Annual Gathering: An annual workshop designed to introduce the student to the latest ARC health-care approaches, current research and BodySpeak for personal growth and professional development.
ARC Coaching Classes: ARC students receive support in their development and approach to BodySpeak. Participants are given the opportunity to work on selected clients for a few minutes each under ARC’s founder, Pietro Abela’s, supervision. Using the formats of discussion, demonstration, instruction and analysis from video-taping sessions, Pietro demonstrates the options and approaches that could be applied in the session, giving guidance on the development of practitioner timing and the use of BodySpeak to enhance client process.
Supervised Sessions: ARC Practitioners give an ARC session with either a client of their choice or a client chosen for them while under the supervision and guidance of ARC’s founder, Pietro Abela. At the session’s end the practitioner receives extensive verbal and written feedback. Feedback includes recommendations and support for the practitioner’s next step for their personal and professional development.
Personal Mentoring: A personal session by phone or in person with ARC founder, Pietro Abela, to discuss professional or non-professional client case studies, the practitioner’s approach, techniques, and moments the practitioner may have lost Presence due to transference or counter-transference issues.
Session Viewing: The student observes ARC’s founder, Pietro Abela while giving a professional session to a client (with client consent).
