The ARC Institute

A Return to Consciousness

ARC TRAINING OVERVIEW

An ARC meeting taking place around a table. ARC training facilitates physical and energetic experiences of full-bodied listening and meaningful communication. The acronym ARC stands for A Return to Consciousness. The term "consciousness" refers to a high level of inner awareness and outward discernment. ARC teaches the importance of recognizing the times we have lost our conscious awareness, and provides tools for the development of inner resources so that a high level of awareness and balance can be retained in any circumstances.

ARC classes utilize physical, emotional, spiritual and energetic principles. We teach students how to apply these principles to themselves in order to develop a reference point for work with others. Students are then able to use these methods to attend to their own care, as well as the care of clients, family, and friends. These methods teach both preventative physical measures and tools for working with the emotion

ENROLLMENT OPTIONS

The ARC Institute is committed to flexibility that allows students to fulfill a range of learning goals. There are several enrollment options. To enter the ARC Training students are required to take The Essence of ARC two-day or three-day class. This class teaches the tools essential to full participation in the specialty classes taught in the modules.

Once students have completed The Essence of ARC class, they may enroll in the ARC Training as a casual student taking classes only on topics in which they are interested. Students may take all of the classes in the program with the goal of satisfying their personal interests. Or they may take the full ARC training with the goal of receiving the ARC Health Practitioner Certification offered by the Institute.

HOMEWORK

Homework assignments are given at each class for additional educational and advancement between classes. These assignments are required for those who are pursuing the ARC Practitioner Certificate. The assignments are optional for all others. The homework consists of reading and reflection questions in support of self-growth. In the case of those training to become ARC Health Practitioners, the homework also includes practicing the ARC skills on others.

All participants receive one-on-one personal time with their teacher to review the assignments. The purpose of this session is to validate, support and identify any areas that need clarification, in addition to increasing the student’s skill levels.
