ARC Leadership Training ARC Teacher Training

ARC Health Practitioner Certification (C.A.H.P.) is offered by The ARC Institute. Students who become Certified ARC Health Practitioners have professional status as recognized by The ARC Institute and may offer ARC therapeutic services.

This certification program is designed for Graduates of the ARC Foundational Program and Certified ARC Practitioners to learn how to hold mindfulness in a group setting where they hold a position of authority. The topics addressed in this program include: how to read unconscious language from a group perspective, negotiating group dynamics, how to identify and hold the balance between listening and speaking and discovering the personal issues that stall or prevent the movement into self-authority.

Post-graduate support is provided for those who attain certification, becoming Certified ARC Health Practitioners or C.A.H.P.s.

ARC Leadership Training

This certification program is designed for Graduates of the ARC Foundational Program and Certified ARC Practitioners. The program runs in conjunction with the ARC Foundational Program. Leadership students are placed in the role of supervisors to the Foundation students, while under the supervision of the program instructors. Leadership trainee sessions are held before, during and after the Foundational classes. Trainees therefore have the opportunity to practice their acquired skills in the classroom. Assignments are handed out upon completion of each of the trainings.

Topics:

• How to negotiate group dynamics
• Learning to hold and model mindfulness in a group setting where you have been placed in the position of authority
• How to identify and hold the balance between listening and speaking
• How to read unconscious language from a group perspective
• How to sense and respond to qualitative change in group energy
• Discovering the personal issues that stall or prevent the movement into self-authority
• Supporting your listener or student to reach empowerment through their own experience rather than adopting the experience of the teacher
• Being a teacher in voice, written word, observation and model
• Learning how to deal with the contrast between authenticity versus self-image (the ideal of who we think we ought to be)
• The ability to use your audience as the guideline - being able to sense your audience so that you know when your teaching is meeting their needs versus when you may be missing them and providing more for your own needs
• Using BodySpeak^™ in a group setting
• Identifying when the group or individual has been triggered

Teacher Training and Workshop Facilitation

ARC Teacher Training is open to Certified ARC Practitioners who have completed The ARC Foundational Program and ARC Leadership Training. Personally coached by Pietro Abela, students are taught a step-by-step approach to preparing and presenting a lecture, class or workshop. On-going support and feedback is given to cultivate the student’s communication style and to help develop delivery techniques to achieve maximum impact and incorporation of the teacher’s own style, research and approach into the classroom.

Self marketing will be a consistent theme throughout Teacher Training, since the success of the class depends as much on marketing knowledge as it does on excellence in teaching.

• Developing personal charisma in the teacher
• Coping with teacher fatigue and personal triggering
• Working with student personal issues within the classroom and outside of the classroom
• How to recognize and respond to classroom conflict
• Promoting the student’s unique gifts and passions
• How to avoid cloning students in the teacher’s own image
• How to set and respond to class assignments
• Enhancement of the unique style and repertoire of the presenter
• Marketing yourself, your classes and presentations
